From the Vault: Big City Cooking

I've been writing a lot about recipes this month, from a project for organizing them to my favorite cookbooks from 2009. As I cooked from it this weekend, I was reminded of how wonderful is Matthew Kenney's Big City Cooking. I've been using this book of inventive recipes for years. It seems natural to recommend Big City Cooking to readers of an urban homekeeping blog; here's the link to the review I wrote of it for Slashfood.
And speaking of recipes, I am finishing Weeknight Dinner for January. In the spirit of New Year's resolutions, it will be an easy, light entree that pairs perfectly with capellini with lemons and capers.
