Here are our plans for the high-summer month of July at Urban Home Blog:

Attend neighborhood Fourth of July party. Bring salsa, pimento cheese, and banana cream pie.
Drive to Ventura to spend a day at the beach.
Update household calendar with mid-year changes including doctor and dentist appointments, car maintenance, and work schedules and deadlines.
Go through tax records to ensure that, at mid-year mark, all files including receipts are current and correct.
Inspect air conditioner, air purifier and water filters; clean or replace as warranted.
Clean under-sink area to maximize capacity and usefulness. Safely discard expired cleaning items, replace as warranted at Koontz Hardware.
Take tailoring class at local men's shop.
Check summer garden for summer harvest. Use first tomatoes for BLT lunch on the patio.
Watch farmer's market for fresh fruit for summer canning. Musts: raspberry jam, strawberry jam, apricot butter, .
Attend Hallmark's winter holiday preview.
Attend West Hollywood electronic waste disposal event. Have lunch at Basix afterwards.
On a blistering day, take an inside mini vacation by unplugging from social media and watching surf movies including Frankie and Annette and Jaws. Make cheeseburgers and nachos, and serve with ice-cold beer.
