Here are our plans for the festive month of December at Urban Home Blog.
- Attend annual tree-trimming and toydonation party at The Abbey.
- Retrieve winter holiday décor from storage. Spend long weekend decorating for the holidays.
- Update Christmas playlist for holiday listening.
- Make white chili, cornbread, and chocolate cake for decorating weekend.
- Write out and send holiday cards – paper for family, close friends, and business associates; electronic for acquaintances.
- Order this years keepsake ornaments. Per family tradition, save them for last placement upon the tree.
- Attend John's office holiday party. Bring mulled wine, and gift-sized jars of apple cider jelly, apricotbutter, and Habanero Gold to pass out to co-workers.
- Participate in 2017 Bar Santa.
- Obtain wrapping supplies: black and silver paper and ribbon, bright green tissue for this year's Absinthe gift theme.
- Make Christmas weekend reservations at The Smokehouse and New Year's Eve reservations at The Dresden.
- See stylist for holiday color, cut, and manuicre. Tip extra for the year.
- Hang gold lights in windows.
- Set up John's train diorama at foot of Christmas tree.
- Order ham, Dobosh torte, and cheese board for Christmas dinner. Make baklava and scalloped potatoes.
- Make gravlax for annual Christmas morning breakfast of bagels all the way.
- Set up running list of filing and office supplies to order for delivery in time for new year.
- Order 2018 calendars.

We all like to celebrate festivals with our family especially December Global Holidays. These days will make us happy because all the workplaces and schools will be closed. Also, we get to spend the holidays with our families and friends. This is the time where we meet our dear ones and exchange gifts with them
