White Chocolate Brownies

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about baking white chocolate brownies while waiting for it to snow. The recipe has just been posted at slashfood: here is the link.

These brownies are a pure white confection studded with garnet. I can't make (or eat) them without thinking of winter cardinals darting against a backdrop of snow. I think they're a perfect winter treat: simple to make and good to eat.
